Rajasthan Desert Tour
Destination : Jodhpur – Jaislmer – Bikaner – Mandawa – Nawalgarh – Mukundgarh
DAY 1: JODHPUR
Pick up from Jodhpur. Afternoon sightseeing of Jodhpur visit Mehrangarh Fort (1459 AD) built by Rao Jodha who considered themselves the descendents of Lord Rama. In this palace you would see different miniature paintings & cradle room. After this you would visit Jaswant Thada Memorial and Umeed bhawan meuseum. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
DAY 2: Jodhpur-JAISELMER
After Breakfast drive to Jaiselmer, Transfer to hotel/ Jaisalmer nicknamed "The Golden city", is a town in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert (great Indian desert). Overnight stay in Tent or Hotel.
DAY 3: JAISELMER
After breakfast sightseeing of Jaisalmer city visit JAISALMER FORT, Jaisalmer fort is the second oldest in Rajasthan after Chittorgarh and commands the desert scape from its 250 feet high perch on the hill, Old Haveli, Temple. Afternoon Camel rides in Sand dune. Overnight stay in tent.
DAY 4: Jaisalmer- BIKANER
After Breakfast drive to Bikaner on the way .Visit Deshnok Temple also known as a Rat Temple just before Bikaner over night at Bikaner.
DAY 5: BIKANER
Full day sightseeing of Bikaner. Bikaner is a city in the northwest of the state of Rajasthan in northern India. On arrival check in at Hotel, later sightseeing of Bikaner visit Junagarh Fort and Temple. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
DAY 6: Bikaner –Fatehpur- Mandawa
After Breakfast drive to Mandawa, on the way visit Fatehpur is a town in the Sikar district of Indian state Rajasthan. It is part of the Shekhawati region. Fatehpur is famous for grand Havelis with frescos, which is a specialty of the Shekhawati region. A number of bawdis are also centres of attraction here. After Sightseeing drive to Mandawa. Afternoon enjoy a walking tour of Mandawa, which includes the medieval fort that gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Overnight at Mandawa.
DAY 7 : Mandawa – Nawalgarh-Mukundgarh- Mandawa
After Breakfast drive to Mukundgarh, Mukundgarh is a city and a municipality in Jhunjhunu district in the Indian state of Rajasthan .It is part of Shekhawati region. It lies a few kilometres from Nawalgarh.
Nawalgarh is famous for its fresco and havelis and considered as Golden City of Rajasthan. It is also the motherland of some great business families of India. Nawalgarh Fort (Bala Kila Fort) Shri Ramdev Ji Mandir (Famous temple of God Ramdev Ji) Shri Balaji Mandir (Built by Shree Ramchandra Seva Dham Trust) Lakshmi Narayan Mandir (Built by Thakur Udai Singh in 1869 V.S.) Shri Gopinath Ji Mandir (Built by Thakur Nawal Singh)Shri Kalyan Ji Mandir Gangamai Temple, Shri Ganesh Mandir, Mahamaya Temple, Shri Shanishar Mandir, Shri Hanumangarh Balaji Mandir, Shri Surya Temple, Shri Shiv Mandir, Shri Narsingh Bhagwan Mandir, Enjoy the glimpse of Aath (Eight) havelis Complex, Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Jodhraj Patodia Haveli, Bhagat Haveli, Chokhani Haveli. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandawa.
Day 8: Drive to Delhi. Transfer for onward journey.
